“What if we could work with more freedom and responsibility?”

Jun and Yaco are the couple behind the leather brand Lille og Stor, which began after their time living in Denmark. Now based in Tokyo, they share a home with their 8-month-old baby and two cats—a space they’ve carefully shaped with their own hands to reflect their pace and values.

“It doesn’t have to be perfect. If our kid scribbles on something, we’ll just make it again.”

From furniture and doors to storage and cozy nooks for their cats, nearly everything in their home is handmade by Jun. When Yaco says, “I’d love something like this,” Jun makes it happen. Their rhythm of life is defined by warmth, creativity, and adaptability—mixing handmade and favorite pieces to create a home that grows with them.

“Just like in Denmark—we live with only a little light.”

Inspired by their time in Denmark, they now live with minimal lighting and keep the TV off most of the time. In this quiet atmosphere, they find space to notice and appreciate the small, beautiful details of daily life.

After leaving their corporate jobs, they began to ask themselves, “What if we could work with more freedom and responsibility?” This shift in mindset led to a more intentional, creative way of living—one that also shaped the philosophy behind their brand Lille og Stor.

Children and adults, home and work, beauty and function—everything connects in this warm and quietly inspiring space.
