Emma splits her week between two roles—supporting retail and cultural projects at Sydney-based creative studio RIGHT ANGLE, and working as a wedding planner on weekends.
Her schedule may sound hectic, but she’s found a rhythm that makes space for both connection and calm.
“I live alone, but I never feel alone.”
Her life is closely tied to her neighborhood. A close friend lives nearby, and coffee runs often turn into chats with familiar faces. She starts her mornings before sunrise—running, swimming, or simply taking a quiet moment for herself. “Same café, same gym—those routines have become a little community.”
“Saturdays are my day off—and that’s non-negotiable.”
Emma draws a clear line between work and rest. If she’s not at an event, she makes the most of her day— visiting the farmers markets, picking up flowers, switching off. “My work is always about doing things for other people. If I don’t have time for myself, everything feels out of balance.”
“Everything in this home was chosen over time.”
Her one-bedroom apartment in Elizabeth Bay is her first solo home. She’s filled it slowly—with low furniture, soft tones, subtle lighting and books gifted by friends. Every piece reflects her sharp eye for design and a clear sense of what feels right. It’s not a space styled all at once, but one that’s taken shape with intention, growing naturally around her life.
“Creative and organised—that’s my sweet spot.”
Emma finds inspiration in everyday details—lighting, layouts, the feel of a space. Balancing aesthetics with structure comes naturally to her—at work, and at home.
“It just feels good to be here.”
Whether it’s the rooftop overlooking the harbour or the quiet floor of her living room, Emma values spaces where she can simply be. In nurturing those calm places, she’s shaping how she lives.
